"Do one thing every day that scares you." Elanor Roosevelt
This quote, although short, speaks volumes to me. It is something that I wish I could live by, but don't, and that frustrates me. By doing one thing every day that scares me, I would be consistently getting out of my comfort zone. I want to be bold and try new things, but my reserved personality doesn't allow me to do these things easily. Being courageous and facing my fears is a challenge that I hope to one day conquer; doing this will give me more social skills and will let me grow connections easier. Although I currently do not live by this quote, I hope to gather enough strength and courage to truly face what scares me.
"The flower that blooms in adversity is the rarest and most beautiful of all." Walt Disney
This quote really emphasizes the importance of failure and accepting backlash. If people do not face challenges and cruise through life, then they will never understand the concept of hard work and growth. This quote also relates to childhood. Kids who are heavily spoiled by their parents do not work as hard for their goals and don't understand the value and importance of certain necessities. Facing hardships and adversity only makes people stronger and more likely to be successful in life.
"Don't let yesterday take up too much of today." - Will Rogers
This quote expresses that in order to be efficient and effectively get work done, we must not let our past failures and mistakes shape our morale and work ethic. To be successful in whatever career path I may follow, I will always remember to put the past behind me and focus on the present. Not only does this quote apply to work, but it also relates to emotions. If someone loses a loved one, they will never regain their happiness and overall personality if they mourn continuously. They must do their best to forget about it and try to move on. In my daily life, I have to always remember to continue being confident in myself and my abilities, even after I make mistakes.
