General Advice - The Letter
Since me and Malery both have the same position as what we had last year, I can't write a letter to someone who is replacing me next year. However, I am still going to write about things that I should probably know myself to be successful next year. First off, I need to have better planning for Powderpuff. Although it was successful last year, many of the jerseys were not collected in time, meaning some people were ineligible for Winter Formal. Although we ended up fixing that issue, it was still unnecessary stress that could have been avoided if jerseys were collected sooner. In order to do this, me and Malery should publicize jersey returns more, and emphasize the importance of it. Also, we will be taking on a bigger workload next year, as the Fall Sports Rally and all Senior Nights will be under our responsibility. This means I need to be better organized and communicate with the coaches on when senior nights are and what we need to do for those events. Overall, I just need to be more assertive and take the initiative. I'm no longer a trainee, where I'm not blamed if anything goes wrong. This next year, I must me more proactive and responsible in order to be successful. Since me and Malery both have experience as Athletics Commissioners, I am sure we will do great. As long as we keep track of everything that is going on and complete our tasks efficiently and cooperatively, it will be a successful year.
